New Jersey was privileged to witness Brazil take on Colombia tonight in a game that failed to disappoint. With stars such as Neymar, Oscar, Kaka, Falcao, James Rodriguez & Jackson Martinez on the pitch how could you not enjoy this game, unless you were watching X-Factor or several repeats of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s fourth goal against England.
The South American powerhouses ended the game in a draw with goals from Juan Cuadrado and a fantastic goal from Neymar. Neymar was the most threatening player on the field, and was unlucky not to have added to his tally thanks to some great goal keeping from David Ospina.
Unfortunately for Neymar, we won’t look back on this game because of his superb performance that arguably should’ve earned Brazil the win. Tonight was the night that Mano Menezes should start thinking about appointing another player the duty of taking penalty kicks for Brazil.
Now that might be harsh, but I’m sure many in Brazil and around the world might be thinking the same thing.
On the bright side, Sergio Ramos can sleep peacefully tonight!
